If you love, colour, doodling and playing with scraps of paper, cloth, and ephemera then you are really going to enjoy your time on any of Gary’s Art and Design short lessons.

This lesson is based around creating THREE x unique Christmas Card Designs, with using just snippets and trimmings from your studio and collected ephemera. This design base lesson in illustrative collage, will undertaking a series of processes to help you achieve your own Christmas themed cards using found materials. This will not be a conventional card making workshop, far from it; but rather a fun and informative approach to creating seasonal illustrative art which will give those cards a personal unique twist to send to friends and family this coming festive time of year.

What You Will Learn in this Online Interactive Workshop:-
In this short 1 1⁄2 hour lesson you will cover making coloured papers and plenty of “collage fodder” to

use in the making of these three themed card designs. You will be using both acrylic paint and water colour paints. You will be using found decorative trimmings such as sequins or found scraps of papers such as magazine pages, old books, and maps. You will be shown how to assemble your designs with templates supplied to follow.

The outcome to this project is three card designs: Christmas Pudding, Wonky Christmas Tree, and Red Robin.
