Introduction to Hannah:-

Hannah is a fabric collage embroidery artist specializing in landscapes. Inspired after a cross-country move in 2018, most of her artwork is influenced heavily by the great vistas of Oregon and the greater Pacific North-West. Hannah’s expertise in hand-sewing and embroidery are precious gifts from her grandmother. She strives to utilize inherited and secondhand fabric scraps in her pieces and can’t wait to show you how to do the same!...

What You Will Learn in this Online Interactive Workshop:-

In this workshop you’ll learn how to make a layered landscape out of fabric! You’ll learn basic embroidery tips and tricks and be given guidance as you create your own personal vista!

Skill Level for this Online Interactive Workshop:

Beginner

This workshop is beginner-friendly and easy to modify for a challenge!

Material requirements for this Online Interactive Workshop:-

• 1 x 4" to 5" embroidery hoop, preferably bamboo or beechwood
• 4-6 pieces of cotton fabric for layering
• 1 x layer of fabric that will cover the entirety of the hoop as a stabilizer
• 1 x Sewing Needle (embroidery, milliner, or chenille needle is recommended)
• 1 x pair of Sharp Scissors
• Embroidery floss for embellishing (as many colors as you’d like, I recommend one for each layer of fabric)

Fabric requirements for this Online Interactive Workshop:-

• 4-6 pieces of Cotton Fabric for layering, each piece should be 7" x 7" minimum
• 1 x layer of fabric that will cover the entirety of the hoop as a stabilizer, 7" x 7" or larger

Equipment requirements for this Online Interactive Workshop:-

No extra equipment than that listed above is required, however an Embroidery Stand can be helpful during stitching and will be used by the instructor!

Pattern Information relevant to this Online Interactive Workshop:-

No pattern is required prior to the workshop, a link will be shared at the end of the workshop for reference videos to be used post workshop.

Tickets for this Online Interactive Workshop (via the Zoom platform) will be limited & allocated on a first-come/first-served basis! If applicable, any free pattern, or other information, relevant to this course will be forwarded to you after booking and approximately 5 days before the course date. The ticket price of £35.00 is based on ONE person attending this crafting class.
