Introduction:-
 
Former BBC Sewing Bee winner, Charlotte Newland teaches you about Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP for short!), a fantastic technique that gives really accurate results. You can create sharp points consistently without the headache of matching corners, allowing you to sew simple or intricate designs. FPP with regular paper has the big disadvantage that each template can only be used once and has to be ripped away from the back of the block after sewing. This can take a lot of time and can be really fiddly, especially if the design is complex.
 
Freezer Paper Piecing has the huge advantage that you can reuse your templates and you don’t have to rip out any paper. Instead of making many copies of your template you trace a copy onto Freezer Paper that can then be re-used up to ten times!
