Online Interactive Workshop: Next Steps in Walking Foot Quilting

After what feels like an age, we're delighted to welcome back the wonderfully warm, engaging & hugely talented Sarah Ashford. This class will see participants expand their Walking Foot Quilting skills by taking 'the Next Steps'!...

Introduction by Sarah:-

Hi everyone! I'm Sarah - a modern quilter, quilt pattern designer and teacher. I'm also the author of Jump into Patchwork and Quilting and Rotary Cutting Basics for C and T Publishing. Following on from the popularity of my first class with CraftyMonkies (Walking Foot Quilting), comes this brand new class: Next Steps In Walking Foot Quilting. I really hope you'll be able to join me and Rachel to learn how you can push the boundaries even further with this most dynamic of skills - see you in class!...

What You Will Learn in this Online Interactive Workshop:-

In this class you will learn more advanced skills of Walking Foot Quilting, including:

  • 60 degree designs
  • Sashiko inspired designs - Reverse designs

In this class, Sarah will also share her top tips for walking foot quilting, to obtain the best results. These designs are featured in the book Walk 2:0 by Jacquie Gering and this is an excellent opportunity to put some of these designs into practice and come away with a toolkit of ideas for quilting your quilts and small projects.

This is an intermediate level workshop, aimed at those who have taken the Walking Foot Quilting class, but it can also be taken by those who are confident quilters, that haven’t taken the original class.
