Since meeting some seven-odd years ago, quilters Nicholas Ball and Trudi Wood have remained firm friends.

From the first quilt Trudi ever long-armed for Nicholas, to the stunning cover start of his book, their quilting relationship has produced some truly magical quilts. Whilst Nicholas prefers a dense, organic quilting treatment, Trudi’s own quilting style is quite different, with stunning feathers and swirls. Join us for an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at a selection of quilts from these two quilting connoisseurs. You’ll get to see never-before-seen images of some of the quilts from Nicholas’s book Inspiring Improv as he shares the stories behind their inspiration and construction.
