By the end of this day-long CraftyMonkies Mindfulness & Brush-Lettering Course you will understand fully what mindfulness is! 

You will have at least 3 mindful techniques to take away and use for those stressful moments and learn and practice them througout the day. You will know how to use Mindfulness Meditation (even for a few minutes in the car, it can be done and provide huge mental wellbeing benefits)! You'll be able to share your own experience and learn tailor made techniques to help you. 

Intertwined with Tony's mindfulness sessions, Lou will be helping you to use Tony's proven techniques as well as teaching you the beautiful art of brush lettering. You will learn how to use pressure to your advantage while lettering and how to apply heavy pressure on downstrokes, and light pressure on upstrokes, also the importance to try for a clean transition between two weights. You will see how to change the thickness of heavy downstrokes to completely change up the style of your lettering and perhaps some flourishing and shadowing.

Sound complex? Don’t worry, this one-day course is very much aimed at beginners and youll soon get the hang of it and be sweeping and gliding in no time!

Oulton Hall Hotel in West Yorkshire, is located a few miles from the M62 and M1, is approx 25 minutes from Leeds and 8 miles from Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

This Retreat ticket will see you begin the course at 9.30am on the morning of Saturday 29th February 2020, stay overnight in a luxurious room within Oulton Hall Hotel, have use of the beautiful Spa should you so desire, have a three-course dinner on the Saturday night, a cooked breakfast the following morning, use the spa should you wish, and check out at 11.00am.
